About the project John Holland is GoldlinQ's nominated design and construction contractor for GCLR3, to extend the existing light rail network by 6.7kms from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads, including eight new light rail stations, two new light rail-bus connections, and intersection upgrades along the alignment. Key accountabilities of the role Overseeing the management and delivery of construction phase services within the delivery program Manage and deliver systems engineering and safety assurance activities, including coordination with John Holland's TEK team Manage the Engineering and Completions Ensure that the Rail Training Organization (RTO) meets its accreditation requirements under the Rail Safety National Law (RSNL) Manage the project's quality and completions requirements under the Contract to ensure timely achievement of delivery milestones, operational readiness, and on-time delivery of day one revenue service To be successful in this key role, you must have Tertiary Qualification in Architecture, Building, Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying 5-10 years in technical management roles on significant projects 5+ years Design experience 5-8 years Construction experience Multi-discipline project experience in design and construction Proven commercial and legislative compliance skills and design frameworks and systems Demonstrated competencies in Head Contract and Subcontract understanding and interpretation Strong stakeholder management and relationships with major design partners Awareness of risk management principles and how design can impact operational risk Proficient skills in relevant computer software packages necessary to perform the role Strong time and cost management skills in timely delivery of design and management of both the costs of preparing design and the costs of the works As part of the team, you help us deliver on our promise to transform lives Your success is reflected in ours, so we're committed to being an employer of choice.
