Engineering Coordinator / Service Advisor Paspaley Pearling Company seeks a reliable Engineering Coordinator / Service Advisor to work as part of our Pearling Engineering Team to assist with the direct support of our pearling operations. The Engineering Coordinator’s objective is to assist in the engineering planning for all projects and boat refits, resulting in accurate costing and scope of work for the workshop and the field service team, ultimately improving efficiencies. To ensure all information between the Vessels, Farms, and the Workshop is communicated, and fault-finding techniques and advice are passed through all channels of the engineering department. Key responsibilities include: Assist the Asset Managers in the engineering preplanning for all refits and projects for the workshop and field service team. Assist the Asset Managers by producing a “scope of works” for workshop and field service refits, projects, and new development work. Assist the Asset Managers in compiling job costing for all projects and refits. Assist with the purchasing of goods and services for refit packages. Programming of upcoming jobs. Raising and processing of orders. The successful candidate must: Have previous experience working in a Coordinator/Service Advisor role (preferred). Undertake a pre-employment medical/drug and alcohol screen. Hold a current high-risk forklift ticket and construction white card. Hold a current driver’s license (MR/HR license highly desirable). Have permanent residency and full work rights. Reside in Darwin or be willing to relocate. Some FIFO work is required to our Pearl Farms to complete your duties as directed by the Engineering Manager.
