Complete your Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and hands-on experience with Zeal Futures hosted by HIFAB Services, a leader in the metal engineering industry, located in South Windsor. As an apprentice, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment. Key responsibilities include: Conducting machinery pre-start checklists Assisting with moving equipment and machinery Stick welding on rebar Cutting bars and polishing as a trade assistant Reading and measuring engineering drawings, with a focus on rebar cages Conducting Quality Assurance Checks and completing documentation Who Are We Looking For? The ideal candidate is someone who is: Completing or undergoing a Pre-Trade Qualification in Engineering or equivalent trade Experience with Welding Open to working in various environments, from manufacturing to tier 1 infrastructure sites Eager to focus on hands-on learning and acquiring new skills along with a commitment to completing their qualification Interested in exploring different career pathways, such as welding and welding inspection Capable of passing a standard pre-employment medical Holds a valid White Card Holds a P1 driver’s license or is actively working towards obtaining one.
