Due to our growth, we are seeking an experienced Structural Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers. About You A qualified Structural or Civil Engineer with a strong background in residential engineering. CPEng or eligibility to achieve. Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams. Excellent understanding of Australian Standards and residential construction methods. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and innovation. Effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders and drive team success. Ability to balance short-term project delivery with long-term strategic goals. About the Role As the Engineering Manager, you will oversee residential structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering high-quality outcomes. You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and drafters while collaborating closely with key stakeholders, including detailers, manufacturers and offshore engineers. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the residential engineering team, ensuring efficient workflow and high performance. Oversee the design, documentation, and review of residential structures, ensuring compliance with NCC, AS2870, AS1684, AS3600, and other relevant standards. Conduct QA testing and validation of engineering products and designs to ensure compliance with specifications and performance requirements. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in design processes and project delivery. Develop and implement strategies to enhance team capability, efficiency, and technical expertise. Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development. Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met.
