Engineering Manager - Terminal & Maintenance Port Botany, NSW, Australia req19438 Posted: 1/9/2025 - Application Deadline: 2/9/2025 Engineering Manager - Terminal & Maintenance Autonomous role responsible for engineering projects and maintenance of both Midstream Terminals in Port Botany and Dandenong. What you will enjoy doing Ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of plant, equipment, and processes in compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Responsible for technical reviews, capital projects, and maintenance programs to optimize operational performance and drive continuous improvement. Develop engineering designs and specifications for facility improvements and oversee product quality management systems. Manage major (Opex and Capex) projects from conception to completion. Drive optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. Lead and execute management of change processes, conducting technical reviews and engineering approvals. Coordinate resource allocation and shutdown planning, and manage contractor relationships and performance. Implement and maintain engineering standards across operations. Facilitate and assist with Major Hazard Facility (MHF) Safety Case workshops, reviews, and development. What makes you great Tertiary qualification in mechanical or related engineering field and more than five years experience in an engineering role (industrial gases and/or LPG industry desirable). Proven ability to communicate effectively to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders. Logical and analytical mindset to determine the optimum methods for achieving results. Exceptional interpersonal skills for working with both blue-collar and white-collar stakeholders. Computer literacy (use of production and maintenance systems would be an advantage). Ability to recognize factors critical to success and overcome problems with sound judgement. Comprehensive knowledge of LPG chemical and physical properties, as well as associated hazards.
