Engineering Officer – Airline Asset Management An excellent opportunity exists for a highly motivated and suitably qualified individual to join Rex in the full-time role of Engineering Officer – Airline Asset Management, located at our Sydney Head Office. Position Responsibilities: Assist REX Group engineering management in:the Engineering Operations Process and Product enhancement and improvement the design, review and improvement of KPIs including close tracking and analysis of them discrepancy investigations and responses undertaking engineering projects performing reliability assessments of aircraft and aircraft components Manage and plan engine MRO repair cycles Build engine repair cost modelling Manage related freight movements Travel frequently to Engine MRO facility in Indonesia for up to a month on site. Draft engine through life support reviews. Draft Regulatory completion position papers and NPRM responses. Prepare and present briefs at board level on engine asset management performance and budgets. Other duties as assigned Key Selection Criteria: Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Extensive software knowledge specific to document development and management Experience in developing and reviewing technical documentation Experience working in Aviation industry an advantage Frequent travel required to other ports nationally and internationally Proven ability to work in a team environment, but also have an ability to work unsupervised A demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft suite Conditions: Conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant.
