Job Description
An excellent opportunity exists for a highly motivated and suitably qualified individual to join Rex in the full-time role of Engineering Officer (Purchasing), located at our Sydney Head Office. Position Responsibilities: The Engineering Operations Process and Product enhancement and improvement The design, review and improvement of KPIs including close tracking and analysis of them Discrepancy investigations and responses undertaking engineering projects Performing reliability assessments of aircraft and aircraft components Purchasing commercial and aircraft parts in support of the Company operation Stock distribution and reorder reports Responsible for maintaining appropriate stock levels Ensure cost effectiveness is maintained Data entry and verification of information Other duties as assigned Key Selection Criteria: Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Extensive software knowledge specific to document development and management Experience in developing and reviewing technical documentation Experience working in the Aviation industry is an advantage Proven ability to work in a team environment, but also have the ability to work unsupervised A demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Suite Conditions: Conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant.
