Part time permanent role $57.23 - $61.69 per hour (dependent on experience) + superannuation + EMCH and qualification allowances About the role As an Enhanced Maternal and Child Health Nurse, you will provide flexible and intensive support for vulnerable families, to support the goal of the Victorian Enhanced Maternal and Child Health Program to improve the health and wellbeing of children across the community of Glen Eira. Other responsibilities include: Meet the overall aim of the Victorian Enhanced Maternal and Child Health (EMCH) Program, which is to improve the health and wellbeing of children by providing focused, flexible and intensive support for vulnerable families experiencing significant early parenting difficulties and children identified as being at risk of harm. Providing a tiered, comprehensive, and focused approach for the early intervention and prevention of physical, emotional, and social issues affecting young children and their families. Working collaboratively within the EMCH team and liaising with external services. About you You are a compassionate and skilled professional with experience in maternal and child health. With excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, you will empower families through education and support. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the best possible services for families with young children. The following is also required: Registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse and Midwife with recognised Maternal and Child Health Qualifications or equivalent. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Demonstrated experience working in Maternal and Child Health Services. Previous Enhanced Maternal and Child Health experience desired but not essential. Current Drivers Licence and own vehicle. Not meeting all the requirements for this role?
