Where you’ll be working: HKH Emergency Department is a newly commissioned combined Adult / Paediatric Emergency Department with an amazing team of Clinical Nurse Unit Manager’s (NUM), Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Registered and Enrolled Nursing staff. What you’ll be doing: As an Enrolled Nurse applicant you will be working in a busy Emergency Department, caring for Adult and Paediatric patients across a wide spectrum of trauma, surgical, medical and mental health presentations. This is a challenging and rewarding role supported by a structured training pathway designed on an individual basis by the ED CNE. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal. Basic computer skills.
