JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive who will be accountable for achieving quota by selling Commvault solutions into a Public Sector. The Account Executive plans, coordinates, leads, and controls balanced sales growth, account penetration, and positive customer outcomes on a long-term multi-quarter basis. This individual may lead a cross-functional and matrixed sales team and is responsible for crafting sales campaigns to penetrate and expand their target accounts. What you will do: Identify and qualify leads and generate new business opportunities to achieve revenue quota on a quarterly and annual basis. Maintain a high level of face-to-face meeting activity with customers, prospects and partners on a weekly basis – encouraging strategic working relationships. Develop territory/account plans to leverage internal resources, partners, alliances and existing relationships to build and maintain a robust pipeline of new logo opportunities. Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to new and existing clients with strategic and technical value propositions. Negotiate and close deals following the company’s practices and processes. Leverage internal sales tools and processes to drive opportunities to a successful close. Plan, attend and coordinate executive briefings. Ensure an impressive level of Public Sector and Utilities, Commvault, and competitive knowledge. Who you are: Proven success in Software & SaaS sales within the Public Sector and Utilities verticals. Experience within Data Protection/Security industry: products, competitors, history, emerging trends and changing marketplace. Demonstrable experience in building relationships with executive level customer stakeholders. Demonstrable experience in identifying, building relationships, and selling with channel partners. Excellent communication skills, persuasive positioning, and active listening skills. Experience of MEDDICC sales methodology or similar would be an advantage. Operationally excellent with regards to operational hygiene including forecasting. Fluent English written and verbal language skills.
