About the team & role Reporting directly to the General Manager Enterprise Compliance, you will assist in the development and implementation of our Enterprise Compliance analytics strategy. This strategy includes the use of data analytics and artificial intelligence to assist in documenting compliance obligations and associated processes and controls, and to identify, predict and monitor for non-compliance with regulatory obligations and internal policies. Ideally you have experience in the application of data analytics within a risk, compliance or audit function, along with an understanding of artificial intelligence and how this can be applied to manage compliance outcomes. What you'll do Enterprise Compliance Analytics Strategy: Assist in identifying and implementing data analytics and AI solutions to optimise compliance processes and enhance efficiency. Compliance Analytics: Analyse data to ensure regulatory and policy compliance, monitor transactions for potential violations, and conduct risk assessments. Obligations Management: Stay informed on regulatory changes, automate obligation tracking, and assess the impact of new regulations. Compliance Monitoring: Support the implementation of real-time compliance monitoring to proactively identify and address potential issues. Compliance Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain clear, insightful dashboards to visualise compliance data, highlighting key metrics and trends for stakeholders. What you'll bring with you Competency in data science, statistics, computer science, finance, commerce or related field. 3-5 years of experience in a data analytics or similar role, ideally within a compliance, audit or risk function. Change management experience in relation to the development and implementation of an analytics strategy and supporting systems is highly desirable. Prior experience in conducting compliance assessments, monitoring transactions/activities for potential non-compliance, and analysing incident/breach data is desirable. Why Xero?
