About the Role As an Environmental Service Worker , your primary focus will be cleaning, ensuring that our aged care facility remains spotless and hygienic. For the right person, training is available in kitchen and laundry tasks to expand your skills. Primary Focus: Cleaning – Maintain hygiene and cleanliness throughout the facility. Training Available: Kitchen and laundry training provided for the right person. Flexible Work: Shifts available Monday – Friday, 30 – 75 hours per fortnight. Key Responsibilities Perform cleaning duties to maintain hygiene and safety standards. Assist with laundry tasks (washing, drying, folding, and distributing linen). Help in the kitchen with meal preparation and dining area cleanliness. What We’re Looking For A strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team and follow hygiene procedures. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Physical stamina for manual tasks like lifting and standing for long periods. Requirements Desirable: Certificate II in Cleaning Operations or in Kitchen Operations. Previous relevant work experience, preferably within a multi-disciplinary team environment. Experience working in the aged care industry. Essential: Possess a current National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check – or the ability to acquire.
