About the role This is a 12-month full time fixed term opportunity located in Brisbane CBD or one of Stanwell’s locations. We’re looking for an outcome focused Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisor as we continue to deliver on our commitment to create a healthy and diverse workplace where our people feel safe, respected and included. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to implement strategies that celebrate diversity, reduce bias, improve systems and create lasting change. The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor supports the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Manager in the design, implementation and evaluation of equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. This includes the effective engagement and guidance of relevant stakeholders, committees and working groups, and the use of evaluative reporting tools and metrics. Key activities include: Work with the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Manager to deliver on the equity, diversity and inclusion strategy including leading and managing key initiatives and engagement, metrics, and reporting. Use a data-driven approach in the evaluation of diversity and inclusion initiatives, to establish their effectiveness, impact, and scope for continuous improvement. Prepare and contribute to relevant internal and external reporting requirements. Work collaboratively with cross-functional experts where there are aligned objectives to ensure cross divisional cohesion. Manage relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. People and Culture, Strategy and Sustainability, Stakeholder Engagement and Corporate Affairs) and lead internal collaboration that will drive the equity, diversity, and inclusion strategy. About you: Knowledge, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge, of emerging equity, diversity, and inclusion trends. The ability to coordinate events or projects, design or contribute to the preparation of communication and engagement materials and implement workforce programs designed to support the employment, development, and engagement of diverse groups. Capability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication skills with demonstrated oral and written communication to a diverse range of stakeholders and audiences (internal and external). Ability to prepare and interpret data and reports associated with equity, diversity, and inclusion programs. Capacity to travel to other Stanwell sites (Brisbane, Rockhampton, and Kingaroy regions) to support equity, diversity and inclusion events or programs as they arise.
