M+J Builders, a leader in the Northern Territory construction industry with over 25 years of experience, is looking for an Insurance Estimator Manager. With a strong reputation for delivering innovative construction solutions across various sectors, including commercial construction, defence projects, high-end residential development and insurance works, M+J Builders operates throughout the Territory, including Darwin, Alice Springs and remote communities. In this role, the Insurance Estimator Manager will assess damages and prepare accurate estimates, reports and proposals for restoration projects within the insurance sector. The responsibilities include: Collaborating with insurance adjusters and clients to facilitate the estimation process and address any discrepancies in claims. Reviewing insurance contracts for compliance and managing project timelines and budgets. Leading a team, providing regular updates to clients and maintaining accurate records of project estimates and contracts. To be successful in this position, candidates should possess a general construction induction training card (White Card), a driver's license and at least five years of experience within the construction industry, including three years in construction estimating. Proficiency in industry-specific estimating software is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication abilities, attention to detail and the capacity to work under pressure while managing multiple projects.
