This is an exciting opportunity for motivated pavilion / marquee installers to work with an enthusiastic professional team on some of the Northern Territories most iconic events such as Darwin Cup Carnival, V8 Super Cars, Greek Glenti, Italian Festival, Palmerston Christmas Wonderland, Bass In The Grass, and Bombing Of Darwin just to name a few. The Top End Sounds group of companies is the oldest, and largest supplier of temporary event infrastructure and resources in the Northern Territory. We are seeking motivated team members to install, de-rig, and maintain temporary structures including marquees, pavilions, tents, and shade structures. This is a full-time position. Typically, you would be expected to work during traditional business hours; however, as we work in events, on occasion, you would be required at other times including weekends, evenings, and early mornings. The successful candidates must have the following prerequisites: Local resident Healthy & physically fit Strong work ethic Team player Punctual & reliable Flexible availability when required One or more of the following documented skills would be viewed favorably: White Card MR/HR License EWP Ticket WP License Fork Lift License Riggers / Dogman License Duties include (but are not limited to): Installing, dismantling, and maintaining marquees, pavilions, tents, and other temporary structures. Installing, dismantling, and maintaining stages, dance floors, and carpet tiles. Delivering, setting, and returning hire inventory such as furniture, fans, and catering equipment.
