Our Vision kunanyi Mountain Run is an epic trail running festival where every participant can feel the power of connection with the place, and people, of the Mountain, kunanyi. We uniquely lead with culture and story, and immerse in the powerful diverse landscapes of kunanyi - for the health and wellbeing of each participant and our community. We are seeking an experienced event production legend who loves nurturing high performing teams. ️We are looking for someone who loves nothing more than working in the great outdoors. We want the right person who understands the big picture, is hands on, quick thinking, and a natural influencer of humans, who understand the enormity of delivering an outdoor event in Tasmanian conditions. We need a respectful person who has a good understanding of the importance and role that kunanyi culture and place play for the palawa community. Objective To “own” the detailed planning and safe delivery of the kMR runHub working side by side with the Festival Director and remainder of the core team. Responsibilities runHub site design amendments to satisfy the run and cultural activities requirements and lessons learnt from previous years Planning, procuring and managing all required festival infrastructure and services including contracts and compliance Contributing to the site risk assessment and deliver on the agreed/assigned risk controls Assist site based permit applications, ensure compliance to permit conditions Licencee and manage the small bar Production scheduling and specify your team’s festival staffing/volunteer shifts/requirements and manage them Operationally coordinate/manage entertainment, cultural and kids activities, all food vans, runHub expo stall holders, stage manage ceremonies and presentations Coordinate team meetings, staff/volunteer briefings, post event reporting Other reasonable responsibilities as assigned Your skills and attributes Perhaps you live within presence of kunanyi 5+yrs of outdoor event experience and proven site design & management capability Works well in teams with competing requirements Communication skills – proactive, encouraging, professional Sound HSE / compliance understanding and diligent delivery Strong relationships with event suppliers, and the festival/events community in Tasmania Time manager genius Ability to work remotely and with limited supervision – takes ownership for outcomes Demonstrated ability and comfort to: Ability to understand the big picture, to jump in the trenches to get stuff done, and everything in between Manage tight budgets and maximise benefit realised Authentic passion for community, culture, and nature Expected Duration / Hours Immediate start for 2-3 days/week average to early March Approx full time from 2nd week of March up to 12hr days Festival week/weekend 24-31 March 2-3 days/week until mid April More Info 2024_kMR_Festival_Booklet_compressed.pdf kMR 2024 Impact Report_FINAL_lowres.pdf kMR Strategic Plan 2024-2028_RevB June 2023.pdf Video Link Strategic plan to 2028 – on request Festival Plan – on request More at #J-18808-Ljbffr
