The opportunity Delaware North Australia is seeking an Events Sales Administrative Assistant to join their team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort. In this role you will play a vital part in assisting in ensuring the smooth running of the department. Support the preparation of event proposals, contracts, and related documentation Assist in reconciling and closing financial accounts Provide assistance with organising and coordinating internal events Ensure accurate record-keeping of all event details, including client communications, bookings, and specific event requirements Maintain and update the event and revenue tracking spreadsheet More about you A certificate or diploma in administration, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not essential Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role within hospitality is highly desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Experience with event management software Opera systems beneficial Strong data entry skills and attention to detail in maintaining accurate records Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, vendors, and internal teams Ability to think critically and address challenges or changes as they arise during the event planning process Who we are Mindil Beach Casino Resort is the leading entertainment destination in the Northern Territory, offering over 600 gaming machines, exciting table games, and diverse dining options.
