Job Description

This rating was conducted through the market and consumer data firm Statista. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our friendly team as Events Executive. This is a full-time position based in Mascot, NSW. Duties include but are not limited to: Must have a thorough understanding of Branksome Hotel’s business strategy and brand positioning and to effectively communicate this in the market. Keep up to date with the hotel's services and new developments and monitor industry trends and market intelligence. Actively participate in client familiarisation trips, site inspections, sales trips, and roadshows. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of events. Assist with maintaining client databases. Prepare proposals for conferences, catering, corporate events, social events, and residential conferences. Respond promptly and courteously to all phone, email, and in-person enquiries. Daily tracking of Activity/Traces reports. Evaluate demand by recording enquiries and lost/declined business. Provide top notch customer service to ensure guest satisfaction at all times. Provide personalised service and handle any complaints, comments, or compliments. General administrative tasks, as required. We are looking for someone with: Proven experience in events management ideally within a reputable hospitality industry. Ability to adapt to growth and change within the business. Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Drive to achieve results. Excellent interpersonal and business retention skills. Attention to details and time management abilities. Excellent personal and professional presentation. Proficient written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office. Must be available to work on weekends as needed. Full work rights in Australia.
