Job Description

Develop and implement a range of events & community fundraising activities to support this NFP organisation. Your new company This well-established Not-For-Profit organisation is dedicated to improving the health of Tasmanians, and they are looking for an Events & Fundraising Coordinator to join their team in Hobart. Your new role Are you passionate about making a difference in the community? Do you have a knack for organising events and inspiring others to support a great cause? This role will see you supporting events & fundraising activities on a part-time basis, 3 days per week. You will: Plan, manage, and execute a variety of events, ensuring flawless delivery from start to finish, to increase funds and awareness for the organisation. Provide post-event analysis and recommendations for future events. Build and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders and corporate partners to drive support and sponsorships for the events. Explore innovative ways to grow events and community fundraising, increase interest, and develop plans to align with Foundation objectives. Contribute to the design and production of event and community fundraising promotional materials, in collaboration with the communication teams, to drive participation. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience in event coordination, community fundraising, or a related role. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a range of audiences. Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Highly proficient computer skills, with proficiency using CRM systems and event management tools. A valid Australian Drivers' Licence.
