Events Coordinator - 9 month contract About the Organisation: A Queensland Peak Body that supports and promotes the interests of the sector by creating positive change through advocacy, and offering resources and networking opportunities for their members. Please note this role requires an immediate start and is a 9 month contract to see through the planning, execution and delivery a major conference. About the Role: Manage and monitor the conference project plan including budgets, timelines, risk management and risk mitigation. Manage and communicate with external stakeholders and coordinate internal project teams including work planning, scheduling and managing workflows. Post conference reporting. End to end event management. To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need: Minimum 5 years of professional events management experience where you have led the planning and execution of a large conference. Highly organised with excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Experience managing staff, budgets, financial reporting and supplier negotiation. Experience in a membership-based organisation highly desirable. Available for an immediate start.
