Job Description

Anglicare are currently seeking a Full Time Permanent Events and Marketing Services Lead to join our Client Engagement team based in our Head Office in Fortitude Valley. The Events and Marketing Services Lead will be involved in the planning, coordinating the delivery of corporate and major internal events (including expos, conferences, awards evening, client workshops and staff sessions) while providing marketing support for the ASQ corporate service divisions and owning the marketing services and supplier programs. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Client Acquisition, the Events and Marketing Services Lead will be the key person coordinating and overseeing the aspects of all corporate events and corporate services marketing activities for Marketing, Fundraising, Communications, and broader ASQ corporate services support. The role requires a collaborative approach to working with and engaging internal and external stakeholders, a strong client focus, high level of organisation and attention to detail. Some of the responsibilities of the role will include: Manage and attend corporate events across the network including set up, run sheet management, clean up and reporting. Work with key industry partners to ensure development of events that will have direct impact on building awareness and stakeholder engagement. Assist in implementing a strategic approach to partnership and sponsorship arrangements, seeking to increase corporate contributions to major events. Work with the media team and brief creative staff regarding events activities. Assist in creating solid networks of industry contacts, business associations and community groups. Delivery of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns for corporate service department (including creative direction, copywriting and campaign ideation) that meet key organisational objectives within budget and to deadline. Delivery of corporate marketing requests including events, media, printing and other requirements. Engage with external and in-house creative and media resources to support content and campaign delivery including briefing design and the wider team. Report on metrics and inform and support key stakeholders on outcomes relating to events and campaign outputs. What you will bring to the role: Degree in Marketing, Events, or a similar field. Proven track record in planning, and/or coordinating events or event management. An understanding of the events industry, including technical and logistic processes and contacts. Ability to manage event planning, set up, attend and run corporate events across the ASQ network. Strong budgeting ability to ensure projects stay on target and within cost parameters. Knowledge of graphic design and print, merchandise and uniform production. Fast thinker with excellent attention to detail and presentation skills. Highly motivated, able to manage competing priorities and work within deadlines. Strong skills in In-Design, Microsoft Office, desktop publishing, timesheet and job numbering systems.
