Executive Assistant - Mountain Creek State High School Education (Organisation site)North Coast Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance Division An exciting opportunity exists at Mountain Creek State High School for a motivated and energetic Administrative Officer to join our team. This role plays an important part in contributing to the efficient and effective delivery of administrative support services to the Front Office. The role is varied and includes tasks such as responding to parent inquiries, supporting Principals, processing enrolments, taking payments, and general administrative support. About the Role: The Administrative Officer is positioned on the Front Counter of the school. This role is the primary point for all parent inquiries to the school and provides well-developed administrative support to Principals. The position is on a permanent basis of 4 days per week (Tuesday-Friday). The hours for this position are 7:15 to 4:00 pm - 7.25 hours per day + 1 additional hour per day (total 8.25 hours per day) to continue wages during school holidays periods. Responsibilities include: Provide confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Principal, including word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications. Take financial payments. Monitor and screen incoming telephone calls and correspondence to the office and where necessary direct these to the appropriate areas. Provide accurate advice regarding school processes and procedures to parents and stakeholders. Prepare draft correspondence, maintain and enhance administrative systems and processes to maximize the effectiveness of school services. Receive and identify client needs and assist visitors and/or appropriately redirect telephone calls. Assist parents with the enrolment process, process enrolments, and make all associated arrangements (e.g., interview times).
