Executive / Chief, Human Resource (Generalist) Support the Management in ensuring all rules, regulation and policy of the Company are being adhered by each employee. Coordinate with other HR/GA personnel in the Company to consolidate information, to proceed with necessary disciplinary action, promptly. Be attentive and effectively monitor indiscipline occurrence in the Company at all time. Analyze each conduct and take appropriate action. Prepare and issue Show Cause, Warning, Demand and other documents related to disciplinary and salary claims. Communicate and deliver the letters to related employees on behalf of Management. Guide and advise other HR/GA on ER/IR matters to ensure that all government laws are complied and the direction is in-line with Company’s policy. Assess risk and identify pragmatic solutions in context of conflicting demands. Manage Domestic Inquiry arrangements. Report to the Management and recommend best action to be taken. Handle employees who fail to follow established procedures while leaving the Company. Assist the Management in Union related issues (if any). Communicate with consultants appointed by Company, JTK, JPP, and other authorities as required. Other Human Resources, General Affairs and Administrative functions Act as a liaison between Management, other HR/GA personnel, employees, and Company associates when deemed required. Coordinate monthly Payroll – prepare, check, and submit for final approval. Manage full cycle of Training & Development activity including HRDF system. Manage Foreign Worker and Expatriate matters overall. Manage Recruitment cycle, on-boarding, and off-boarding. Reinforce Company policies, rules, procedures, and SOPs where applicable to ensure compliance. Issue MEMO as required, based on Management’s decision or announcements by government. Handle CSR activities implementation and manage related policies. Coordinate Company’s Annual events, prepare meeting minutes, and report to Management as required. Create procedures and policies as requested by Superior. Update Company’s handbook. Assist Management in preparation of data processing for annual Increment/Bonus payment. Prepare meeting minutes whenever required to attend meetings with Management. Continuously improve and propose solutions for departmental challenges. Other General Affairs and administrative duties assigned by superior. Requirement Candidate must possess a Degree or Masters in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Human Resources Development or equivalent . Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English – spoken and written. Minimum 8 Year(s) of working experience as Executive/Senior Executive (Generalist) managing all types of disciplinary issues (ER/IR) and other HR functions, with at least 5 years handling complete cycle of payroll is a must. Manufacturing experience is preferred. Those with less experience will be considered for Executive position. Can work independently with minimal supervision and guidance. Demonstrable leadership abilities and confident in leading HR department and team. Effective interpersonal skills to communicate with problematic employees. Willing to take up challenges that come with the responsibility. Possess conflict resolution skills to initiate and mediate workplace conflicts. Quick learner, detail oriented, committed, proactive, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Able to manage and complete assigned duties effectively and efficiently without reminders. Able to work longer than normal hours (if required) for urgent assignments and important deadlines. Up-to-date knowledge of Malaysian Labour Law, Industrial Relation Law, Trade Union Law, Immigration, EPF, SOCSO, IRB, etc. Experience in dealing with Union, Industrial Relation & Labour Departments, Immigration, or other bodies related to Employment and CSR. Salary will commensurate with years of experience, qualification, skills, and knowledge.
