Temporary role effective till 30 June 2026 Total remuneration range: $300,372 – $336,526 commensurate with experience Based in Parramatta with hybrid working arrangements available. We are looking for a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as the Executive Director, Government Shared Services Optimisation Program . In this high-impact role, you will be at the forefront of a significant program that will redefine the shared services landscape across multiple NSW government departments. You will provide strategic leadership and operational management to oversee the delivery of the significant and complex Shared Services Optimisation (SSO) program. This program is a large-scale transformation of shared services offerings across multiple government departments. It will initially onboard approximately 32 agencies from current end-of-life platforms and an outsourced shared service model to a new in-house service delivery model and contemporary platform. The program requires a holistic approach inclusive of process and structural changes as well as a technology platform transition. Does this sound like you? If so, we want to hear from you! Proven Leadership and Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale IT transformation programs driving organisation and cultural change management activities, developing strategic plans, and making data-driven decisions. Stakeholder and Resource Management: Expertise in engaging, collaborating, influencing and negotiating with key stakeholders, vendors, and C-Suite level executives, managing resources efficiently, and driving effective change management initiatives. Governance and Compliance: Solid understanding of governance frameworks, risk management, financial oversight and compliance. Technical Proficiency and Problem-Solving: Familiarity with contemporary technology platforms and strong aptitude for identifying, analysing, and resolving complex problems. Excellent Communication and Adaptability: Exceptional communication skills to promote the benefits of the program across government departments, the ability to provide clear strategic advice and capacity to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.
