You will optimise team effectiveness, enhance delivery processes, and promote technical excellence while leading innovation to maintain Aurizn’s competitive edge.In this role you will: Build and maintain high performance Engineering teams Continue to build and develop the Engineering capability for the business with a view toward staying ahead of new technologies, disciplines and systems Work across Engineering to develop roadmaps, define delivery goals and to achieve outcomes in alignment with strategic timeframes and objectives Engage effectively with internal stakeholders and diverse teams across Aurizn Provide leadership, training and mentoring to our Engineering community, continuing to enhance Aurizn’s recognised Great Place To Work culture Uphold high standards of governance across Engineering by maturing and embedding quality processes and industry leading practices Work closely with fellow senior leaders and across all internal teams to achieve optimum business outcomes in a fast moving and exciting time of growth and investment As Executive General Manager of Engineering, you will lead Engineering leaders and their teams, through your well-honed engagement skills, demonstrating highly credible commitment to excellence in engineering. You will mentor and develop Aurizn engineers, handle strategy and business development, and continually assess internal team talent for capability and professional growth. Externally, you will represent the company with technical authority through client interactions and other Business Development and Branding activities. Extensive experience in technical direction for a large, complex engineering businesses, and with a proven track record of leading large multidisciplinary teams Experience across relevant domains, and of maturing systems and frameworks. Proven success in driving business improvements and scalability, impacting performance, quality, and delivery.
