The organisation Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR) brings together key development, procurement, delivery, management, leasing and maintenance functions to create sustainable and transformative infrastructure, places and spaces aimed at enriching lives and connecting communities across the ACT.iCBR is responsible for leading and supporting the procurement and delivery of the ACT Government’s infrastructure programs. It manages projects detailed in the ACT Government's Infrastructure Plan, playing a key role in the delivery of a $14 billion project pipeline. iCBR delivers infrastructure for the Canberra community, improving livability and enabling a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable city.The opportunity As our nation’s capital, Canberra is the centre of Australian politics and government and home to some of the most important institutions in our democratic society. But it’s more than that – it is a growing, diverse city that is home to almost 500,000 Canberrans and continues to grow with a projected 10% increase over the next decade.The Executive Group Manager, Delivery – Transport and Civil will be part of the senior executive leadership group and Infrastructure Canberra’s delivery team, with responsibility for managing the delivery of the transport and civil stream projects and programs including the Light Rail Stage 2 Project, the New Recycling Facility and the Food Organics and Garden Organics Projects and multiple large scale roads projects. Reporting to the Deputy Director-General, the role includes management of project teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high quality.About you You will be a highly experienced and motivated individual who is ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role. Your extensive experience at executive level in managing the delivery of a portfolio of high-value projects with complex objectives will be invaluable. Your proven skills in project management, commercial management, and problem-solving will allow you to make a significant impact, and your ability to manage risks and work effectively under pressure will ensure success.You will bring substantial experience in the management of the construction of multiple large-scale, complex infrastructure projects, particularly in transport within a developed urban environment, as well as relevant tertiary qualifications in a construction, engineering, project management, commercial, or legal discipline.
