Job Description

Kalano is seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality clinical programs, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), and Flexible Aged Care. This role is critical in ensuring service excellence, compliance with accreditation standards, and fostering a supportive environment that reflects our commitment to Indigenous communities. Additionally, this role involves mentoring staff, strengthening partnerships with stakeholders, and ensuring continuous improvement across all community services programs. Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership: Oversee daily operations of clinical programs, ensuring culturally appropriate, client-centered service delivery that meets community needs. Strategic Development: Lead the creation and implementation of strategic plans for program growth and sustainability, ensuring alignment with Kalano's values and mission. Funding and Compliance: Secure funding, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and accreditation requirements. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong partnerships with Indigenous communities, funding bodies, and other stakeholders to advocate for client needs and expand services. Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation, implement evidence-based practices, and lead quality improvement initiatives for enhanced service delivery. Workplace Health & Safety: Ensure adherence to WHS standards, risk management strategies, and emergency response plans across all programs. On-Call Support: Be available for on-call duties on a rotating roster to support and backfill clinical programs as needed. Clinical Support: Provide hands-on clinical support as a Registered Nurse to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality client care when required. Salary and Conditions: Salary: $140,000.00 per annum (pro-rata) 6 Weeks Annual Leave 2 Weeks Sick Leave 2 Weeks Ancillary Leave Access to pre-tax salary packaging through CBB Mobile phone for work use and limited personal use. Laptop for work use and limited personal use. Motor vehicle for work use and limited personal use. Location: Kalano's Main Office, Katherine, NT 0850 Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday | 08:00am - 4:30pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. The successful applicant should possess the following: Qualifications: Bachelor of Nursing Relevant Infection Control Qualifications (or willingness to obtain) Qualification in Leadership & Management. Experience & Skills: Experience: At least 5 years of senior management experience in the health or community services sector, with expertise in aged care, disability services, and Indigenous health. Skills: Proven ability to secure funding, manage accreditations, and lead culturally appropriate programs. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement abilities are essential. Cultural Competence: Deep understanding and respect for Indigenous culture and community health challenges, particularly in the Northern Territory. Other Requirements: AHPRA registration, NT Driver's License, Working with Children Clearance, NDIS and Aged Care Screening, and up-to-date Covid-19 and Influenza vaccinations.
