Employment Type Ongoing & Non-ongoing (for an initial period of up to 12 months) Classification Executive Level 2 ($141,669 - $168,609) This role is being advertised as both ongoing and non-ongoing, with the employment type to be determined in negotiation with the preferred candidate and the NIAA delegate. Where a non-ongoing specified term is offered, this would be for an initial period of up to 12 months, with possibility of extension up to a maximum period of two years. A non-ongoing offer may result in conversion to an ongoing offer of employment; however, this must occur within 18 months from the opening date of this advertisement. Flexible Work Flexible working arrangements will be considered. The Opportunity The Executive Officer (EO) role is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an EO, you will be required to provide high-level strategic and administrative support to enable the Central Group Manager in the execution of their duties. The position is a key role within the Executive support function of the NIAA and is accountable for coordination across the Executive for the group and their respective work areas. This position requires individuals with a demonstrable ability to work in a position of trust and consistently apply sound judgement and exemplary levels of personal integrity, confidentiality, and discretion. The position also requires the establishment and maintenance of close and professional working relationships with the CEO and Deputy CEO’s office, Senior Executive Staff, the Executive Support team, and group and branch representatives. EO’s coordinate business area processes and initiatives and engage with stakeholders and clients at multiple levels across the NIAA and the Australian Public Service.
