Direct message the job poster from PDA Surveyors, Engineers & Planners Finance Manager | People & Culture at PDA Surveyors, Engineers & Planners PDA Surveyors, Engineers & Planners (PDA) are looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Surveyor who would like a change of scenery and move permanently to the north-west of Tasmania. PDA is a Tasmanian owned, multi-disciplinary company of Land Surveyors, Civil Engineers and Town Planners. PDA provides a comprehensive land and engineering surveying service for a wide range of projects and are looking to expand our engineering surveyor team. The ideal candidate will be someone who is a team player, can work autonomously in their role and on their assigned projects, be able to commence with minimal training, delivering work of exceptional quality. Our north-west team are currently involved in some major and exciting developments around Devonport area such as the Devonport Port expansion and Marinus Link. Minimum Requirements A relevant tertiary qualification (preferably in Australia) 5+ years relevant experience It would be advantageous to have some experience using the following: Trimble and Leica Robotic Total Stations and GNSS Receivers Trimble Digital Level Neo, GeoCivil, Trimble Business Centre, Leica Cyclone & Infinity surveying software AutoCAD, BricsCAD drafting software Responsibilities Both field and office work for a wide range of types of surveys, including but not limited to: detail surveys, engineering setout surveys, and monitoring Pending your suitability's; receiving instructions from Project Managers, client engagement, assisting with project management of construction projects Preparation of files and data for survey and processing of collected data including plan preparation for checking. Maintain and calibrate all survey equipment. Manage survey data and keep digital/paper records of all the applicable information required to allow the continuation of survey work by any other surveyor within PDA. Complete surveys to the level of accuracy and precision required to meet the scope and final use of the survey data by our clients. Complete and comply with required quality assurance processes.
