Experienced Intermediate / Senior Accountant- Western Sydney 15th January, 2025 A reputable and boutique Chartered Accounting and Tax Advisory firm in Western Sydney specialising in serving family businesses and individuals with complex affairs is seeking an experienced Intermediate / Senior Accountant to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, and the Partner and support the team and juniors.Duties include: Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships. Liaise directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored advice. Support and mentor junior accountants, delegating tasks effectively. Collaborate with an overseas team to ensure smooth workflow and deliverables. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax and accounting standards. Utilise software tools, Xero, XPM to manage client accounts efficiently. Skills and personal attributes: Experience: 3-5 + years in a reputable accounting firm. Qualifications: CA or CPA qualified (or near completion). Technical Skills: Proficiency with Xero XPM and tax compliance software. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
