Job Description

Are you a confident, organised Property Manager (or aspiring to be!) looking for a role that offers flexibility and an opportunity to grow within a supportive team? We have the perfect role for you! Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled Property Manager to join their small but dynamic team. With a diverse portfolio that includes private market tenants, affordable housing, and head leasing arrangements, this role offers a unique blend of challenges and rewards. You’ll also have the chance to support the Head of Department while contributing to the vision of the organisation. The Role: End-to-end portfolio management – interact with landlords and tenants as the main point of contact for day-to-day operations Coordinate and conduct Ingoing, Outgoing, and Routine inspections Rent Arrears management and effective follow-up Manage repairs and maintenance requests Show rental properties, conduct application checks, and assist with leasing activities Rent reviews and lease renewals management Tribunal preparation and attendance, if required Occasional Saturday leasing work, with time off in lieu Key Criteria: A current Class 2 Real Estate License (or in the process of getting one) 1+ years of real estate experience within property management preferred however not essential Strong knowledge of property management legislation and general real estate practices A current driver’s license and willingness to travel across the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, and Newcastle regions (company car available for long-distance travel) Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities A strong sense of social justice and knowledge of the affordable housing sector is a plus The Benefits: Ability to get 1 day WFH after probation Work in an incredibly rewarding industry, where profits benefit those in need in the community A small, supportive team environment with backing from a large parent company Motor vehicle allowance or a shared fleet vehicle for work use Strong focus on employee wellbeing and engagement, with team-building events and functions Comprehensive onboarding and continuous support to ensure your success Flexibility to manage your work-life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule, occasional Saturday work with time in lieu To Apply: Please call Hannah Shaw on 0404 609 918 for more information or email your CV to .
