Job Description

Experienced Graduate Architect / Assistant Project Manager We are seeking an Experienced Graduate Architect / Client-Side Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team, specializing in high-end residential projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of projects — from concept design through to construction completion. You will act as the client representative, collaborating closely with architects, consultants, suppliers, and other key stakeholders. Approximately two-thirds of your time will be spent in-office, with the remaining one-third on-site visits. Key Responsibilities Contribute to concept and schematic design, ensuring design intent aligns with client requirements Assist in preparing detailed construction drawings and specifications Ensure that all project designs maintain high standards of quality and innovation Project Management & Coordination Develop project briefs and scope of works for design and construction stages Liaise with high-end residential clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth progress Coordinate design and documentation deliverables to meet project milestones Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related queries, ensuring timely follow-up Assist in preparing tender documentation, evaluating bids, and awarding contracts Oversee contract administration, including RFI responses, variation assessments, and progress claims Perform superintendent duties, ensuring compliance with contract documents, budget, and schedule Site Management & Quality Control Conduct regular site visits (approximately one-third of the role) to monitor construction quality and progress Coordinate with contractors and trades to resolve technical issues and maintain design integrity Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on-site Client & Stakeholder Engagement Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular project updates and reports Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors Present design proposals and solutions effectively, in both English and Chinese (preferred) Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field Demonstrated knowledge of local building codes and regulations Experience: 2–5 years of post-graduate experience in architecture, project coordination, or related roles Proven experience working on high-end residential projects Skills & Attributes: Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (highly preferred) Strong design sensibility and attention to detail Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills Familiarity with contract administration and superintendent responsibilities Proficiency in design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Opportunity to work on prestigious, high-end residential projects from concept to completion Collaborative and supportive team environment Competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience Professional growth through exposure to the full project life cycle Potential for bilingual skill utilization and enhancement Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level Employment Type: Full-time Job Function: Design, Art/Creative, and Information Technology Industries: Business Consulting and Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
