What you’d be doing in this role As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. This role is focused on: Producing live experiences (pop-ups, product launches, sponsor integrations, trade shows, etc.) across the cultural calendar and beyond Supporting the planning, production, and execution of experiential marketing initiatives, with specific attention to the objectives and business goals of each Building and managing production budgets and oversight of event timelines, vendor relationships, and internal workflows Navigating projects at various budget points with a willingness to negotiate with vendors while being ‘creative’ with our approach to events to deliver to an exceptionally high standard, at any budget Having a creative point of view on projects/productions assigned while pushing boundaries for innovations, fresh concepts, and elevating current output Managing large teams of internal and external stakeholders and building great relationships to ensure the work is amplified across relevant channels in support of the work You're probably a match if You have diverse experience in bringing brands to life with deep experience in events, experiential or production and have creatively developed and produced events on a large and small scale You are an expert at experience building, knowing what makes audiences tick and how Canva can cut through the clutter You care about bringing things to life with a visual point of view and have a deep understanding of translating brand needs into experiential activations You effectively engage stakeholders in the development of events and lead the process with the ability to drive the story and creative vision You have the ability to mix creativity with strategic thinking and demonstrate strong interpersonal and prioritization skills You are an energy giver with a positive outlook and the ability to influence your team leads, peers, and senior leaders You are a team player, enjoy being collaborative and are open to lending a helping hand to colleagues as needed You enjoy a fast-paced environment and are excited about working with a global team; frequent travel is expected, but we make it fun! About the team As an Experiential Marketing Manager, you will sit within the B2C team and will play a critical role in helping to build and develop how Canva comes to life across the cultural calendar. In close partnership with the cross-functional team at Canva, you will support and help execute an overall global experiential strategy, creative production, and execution of proprietary event tentpoles, sponsor integrations, pop-ups, and virtual events in support of Canva’s mission to become the world’s most loved brand. Reporting to one of our Global Experiential Leads for Brand & EDU, you will be integral in helping experiential to scale across the globe and support a number of business objectives across the organization. You will oversee the day-to-day project management of multiple experiential programs and help to manage the cross-functional teams that will contribute to the program’s success! What's in it for you? The target salary range for this position is $136,000 - $154,000. When calculating offers, we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates' skills and experience.
