About this opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, results-driven team player to join our team in Sydney on a Permanent, Full-Time basis. Build strong and lasting relationships with customers and provide second-to-none customer service. Take full responsibilities and end-to-end ownership of customer shipments and issues. Engage in constructive problem resolution and provide solutions. Check and Prepare Cargo Release Monitor Container movements Handle Import, Export & Refrigerated Cargo related matters. Monitor cargo availability and location Handle detention queries and follow up of outstanding payments. Address root causes and seek continuous improvements – constantly look for ways to improve work processes. Work independently and assist the team in realizing goals and standards – share knowledge and best practices. About you Our ideal candidate will embody our shared values of innovation and creating value for customers, have exposure to the shipping industry as well as a passion and willingness to further develop their skill set under the guidance of the OOCL team. At least 1 years Customer service experience in the Container Shipping Industry Bachelor's degree in any field Confident learning new computer systems and internal procedures Be an excellent team player and be able to work effectively under pressure. The successful candidate will also display excellent communication skills, ability to converse with people of all levels and is well organized, efficient and effective.
