Expression of Interest MDBA Employees Only - APS6 Senior Policy Officer, BPR Regulatory Design Ongoing or Non-ongoing Expressions of Interest - Open to MDBA Employees Only APS Level 6 - Senior Policy Officer, BPR Regulatory DesignOngoing at level or Non-ongoing at level/Acting Opportunity for 12 monthsThe Position: The Senior Policy Officer BPR Regulatory Design supports implementation of the BPR Regulatory Design project through providing policy analysis and advice, including associated administration and engagement tasks, to contribute to the Basin Plan Review. The role works closely with other parts of the Basin Plan Portfolio and the Murray-Darling Basin Authority, other agencies of the Australian Government, the Basin States and Territories and wider stakeholders. $98,575 - $108,492 plus 15.4% superannuation Adelaide, Canberra, Goondiwindi, Griffith, Mildura, Murray Bridge, Wodonga Your key responsibilities in this role are to: Contribute technical expertise and perform complex policy analysis of potential changes to the Basin Plan regulatory framework including coordination of inputs from internal and external subject matter areas. Liaise and foster effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to leverage opportunities to develop and build support for innovative policy options. Support the preparation and coordination of policy documents, briefing material and correspondence including reporting to internal program, strategy and governance forums. Support project management of the BPR Regulatory Design Project by performing administrative, contractual and financial reporting tasks in accordance with MDBA policies and procedures.
