Who We're Looking For: We are always on the lookout for skilled professionals in various areas of Planning including: Social Planning Transport Engagement We recruit across all levels – Consultant, Senior Consultant, Associate Directors and Directors and have offices across Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth and Melbourne. You will: Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative planning solutions. Conduct research and analysis to inform planning decisions and strategies. Prepare and present detailed reports, proposals, and planning documents. Engage with clients, government agencies, and community groups to gather insights and feedback. Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Ensure all planning activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Promote sustainable practices and integrate environmental considerations into planning processes. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop proposals, and secure new projects. (Associate Directors and above) Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. (Associate Directors and above) Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. (Associate Directors and above) About You: A degree in Urban Planning, Town Planning, Environmental Planning, Transport Planning, or Communications, or related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing detailed reports and delivering presentations. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Experience in engaging with clients, government agencies, and community groups. Familiarity with planning software and tools, GIS, and other relevant technologies. Understanding of local, state, and federal planning regulations and policies. A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex planning challenges. Demonstrated experience in urban, engagement, environmental, or transport planning, with a track record of successful project delivery. Why Urbis?
