21st November, 2024 About the Organisation: This is an amazing opportunity to work as an External Auditor with a strong mid-tier firm that has existed for over 75 years and offers a range of specialist services. The firm is looking to expand their audit division!The firm has 8 directors and 4 offices across Queensland. Their main office is in Toowoomba, where their Audit team is situated, but they are open to having the right candidate work from their Brisbane office !You'll have the chance to work across a broad range of clients, with turnovers of up to $50 million!About the role As an Intermediate Auditor, you will: Work on audits for various clients across: NFP, Company audits, Trust Accounts, Indigenous corporations, and SMSFs (up to $50 million!) Prepare audit reports and financial statements (on CaseWare 365) Test internal controls in preparation for audits Work in the audit and assurance division with a team of auditors, directly reporting into the Partner of the division! Conduct audit planning and completion procedures Skills and Experience Must have at least 2+ years' experience in external audit in an Australian/NZ public practice firm Be very familiar with GAAP, IFRS, and standards from the IAASB. Enjoy creating long-standing relationships with clients Have access to a car and be able to visit clients across Brisbane Be positive, respectful, and enjoy working in a strong team!
