Job Description Job Description: As an FCL coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of FCL shipments in accordance with customer delivery instructions, utilizing Expeditors approved transport providers while avoiding storage charges. You will have the autonomy to provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally while applying the company standards and processes to effectively handle smooth deliveries, ensuring compliance with company and government regulations at all times. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers and service providers to ensure a compliant and complete shipment process in a timely manner, documenting customer needs for future use, and striving for excellence. Operational Excellence: You will take ownership of understanding and complying with Expeditors internal process standards to complete timely, accurate, and compliant deliveries, customer billings, and system updates. Service Provider Relationships: As a Transport coordinator, you will build strong partnerships with Service Providers, including shipping lines, transport companies, and freight yards to ensure your client is serviced to a high level. Qualifications Freight Forwarding experience FCL Cartage knowledge required Competent use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Experience with Expedient and the ICS system Courteous communication and phone manner Proactive approach to problem solving Additional Information Employee Health: You and your health are important; Expeditors will support you with an attractive health insurance package.
