Novita provides early intervention, rehabilitation, therapy, assistive technology and disability services to more than 4,300 people living with disability, as well as support for their families and carers. As Facilities and Assets Manager , you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of Novita’s facilities, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and compliant with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. You'll also play a key role in shaping the long-term strategy for asset management, making sure our infrastructure supports Novita’s mission of empowering people with disabilities. Key Responsibilities Leading facilities management, including planned and reactive maintenance. Managing budgets and optimising resources for cost-effective operations. Ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high safety standards. Developing and implementing strategic asset management plans. Mentoring and leading the facilities and property team. Building strong relationships with stakeholders to drive improvements and resolve issues. Desired Skills and Experience About you 5+ years’ experience in Facilities & Asset Management, ideally in the not-for-profit sector. Expertise in strategic asset management, daily operations, and regulatory compliance (WHS, building maintenance, environmental standards). Proven ability to manage budgets, optimise resources, and drive efficiency across multiple locations. Strong leadership skills—fostering high-performing teams, promoting diversity, and navigating change with confidence. Excellent communicator, skilled in stakeholder engagement and problem-solving at both operational and strategic levels. Tech-savvy and hands-on, proficient in facilities management software, procurement, and contract negotiations. Passionate about innovation and continuous improvement, creating environments that prioritise efficiency, safety, and excellence. Remuneration Package and Benefits Total remuneration package includes base salary, annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,900 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay by approximately $5,000. Further salary-packaging benefits available include meal and entertainment expenses, accommodation and venue hire, private novated leasing and additional superannuation contributions.
