School Address: PO Box 333 Hamilton Hill WA 6963 Position Details Facilities Manager The College Facilities Manager leads the campus maintenance and grounds team (including an apprentice and trainee) and is responsible for all matters relating to the provision of high standard maintenance, compliance and development of College buildings, property and grounds. As well as management oversight, this role requires someone willing to be hands-on throughout the day, leading by example. The successful applicant will demonstrate: Essential Ability to strategically plan and implement development, maintenance and grounds programs for the College A hands-on approach to supporting maintenance within the College Commitment and ability to complete all maintenance requirements in a timely manner Ability to establish a collaborative team environment and to provide leadership, mentoring and motivation of others Flexibility in working arrangements when required and to be available ‘on call’ for maintenance and property related issues A proven ability to manage and prioritise a diverse workload Expertise in risk mitigation and Work Health & Safety principles Proficient understanding of and ability to use computers and other technology Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills specifically consultation and negotiation Ability to generate high standard reports Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and with confidentiality Highly Desirable Relevant experience in property supervision roles within organisations such as other schools, colleges, hotels, sporting clubs or farming operations Experience mentoring and supervising apprentices including possession of relevant qualification for assessing applicable competencies Leadership qualifications Technical or Trade qualifications A current ‘C’ class driver’s license For more information and to access the Application Form and upload your resume please visit the College website .
