6 month assignment, commencing ASAP - potential to extend 5 days per week onsite Flexible work hours Company: The Court aims to be a leader in judicial excellence, providing the highest standard of justice to the community while fostering public confidence in the rule of law. Role: This role is responsible for the daily operation of facility and mail services within a Court setting. Duties will include managing daily mail collection, processing, and delivery, coordinating courier services, arranging office relocations for Judicial staff, setting up event and meeting rooms, and ensuring stock supplies are maintained. Some manual handling will be required in this role. Responsibilities: Provide administrative, mailroom, accommodation, and facility services to Judges and court staff within Melbourne CBD. Follow mail processing and safety procedures for deliveries. Perform tasks like furniture relocations, equipment setup, deliveries, and replenishing supplies. Manage catering and setup for Court functions. Offer reliable, accurate, and courteous service to Judges, court staff, and users. Ensure safe work practices and report issues. Coordinate with contractors for seamless service delivery and minimal disruption. Maintain and update Court's accommodation, asset, key, and phone extension databases. Record and manage requests for lockers, keys, telephone extensions, and furniture. About you: Understanding of OH&S and safe work practices, including manual handling. Proficient in advanced computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, databases). Skilled in planning, organising, and performance monitoring. Effective problem solver with practical solutions. Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills. Takes initiative, accountability, and collaborates well in teams.
