Southern Cross Care is seeking a Facility Manager at Glenara Lakes to oversee operations, ensure exceptional care, and foster a positive environment for residents and staff alike. The Opportunity The Facility Manager is responsible for leading a large team in the delivery of care by promoting a professional focus and an environment conducive to family participation, innovation, and change. The role will manage our Glenara Lakes facility by assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and monitoring expenditure against budget to achieve a positive outcome. What you’ll need We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and qualified leader with strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, good problem-solving abilities, and proven high-level clinical management skills with demonstrated knowledge and experience in an aged care environment. We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to work at a number of our facilities from time to time, as part of the Facility Management team. Qualifications & Capabilities Demonstrated experience in Facility Management Preferred experience in clinical management Leading and motivating large teams Strong knowledge of accreditation standards, infection control, and aged care legislation Experience in staff leadership and team management Valid Australian Working Rights Compliance requirements National Police Check Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration, including NDIS endorsement Sufficient vaccination evidence or medical practitioner approved exemption, as per our current vaccination policy requirements, such as annual influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations.
