The Opportunity This is a rare chance for a highly experienced Family Lawyer to step into a Special Counsel position. You will take charge of complex, high-net-worth family law matters, including property settlements, financial agreements, parenting disputes, and divorce cases. As a key leader, you will also mentor and develop a talented team of lawyers, guiding them toward success. Working closely with the firm’s leadership, you will drive business growth, refine strategic direction, and solidify the firm’s standing as a premier family law practice. Your Role Will Include: Managing a sophisticated caseload, including high-value property and parenting disputes Leading and mentoring a team of dedicated family lawyers Providing strategic legal advice and innovative solutions to clients Driving business development initiatives to expand the firm’s client base Playing a key role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction and long-term success Who We’re Looking For: Minimum 4-8 years PAE in family law, with a strong track record in complex cases A confident and inspiring leader with experience mentoring junior lawyers Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and client management skills Strong commercial acumen with the ability to contribute to business growth Admitted to practice as a solicitor in Australia What’s On Offer?
