Family Services Practitioner (2 Positions) Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation (MAC) is a Community Controlled Organisation that provides a range of services for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people living within the Ovens Murray region. Established in 1994 by local Aboriginal Community members, Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation aims to foster a healthy and proud community through motivation, education, cultural acknowledgement, and a sense of belonging. The Family Services Practitioner, under the general direction of the Child and Families Program team, provides support to families who have dependent children aged 0-17 years. The Family Services program includes a range of early intervention and placement prevention strategies to prevent Child Protection meetings and offers reunification services such as Changing Futures and Stronger Families. The aim of Child and Family Services is to provide in-home and community interventions with varying intensities depending on family needs, in a child-centered, family-focused way.
