Add expected salary to your profile for insights About the role Whittaker Contracting is seeking experienced Field Service & Diesel Fitters to join our team. These are full-time positions with opportunities across multiple NSW sites including: Orange, Cadia, Parkes, Tomingley, Cobar, Hunter Valley, West Wyalong, Nyngan & more! On Crew & Roaming roles available. What you'll be doing Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of heavy mining and earthmoving equipment. Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. Maintaining detailed records and reporting on work completed. Providing excellent customer service to our mining and construction clients. Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. What we're looking for Formal trade qualifications in Diesel Fitting or Automotive Mechanics. Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to problem-solve. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation. Commitment to workplace health and safety. Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to different mine sites.
