As our first-ever Field Service Engineer in the region, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting our rapid growth and providing cutting-edge service to our customers. Your role will be critical in ensuring seamless operation of our innovative technology, while also paving the way for future success across APAC. Main Responsibilities: Provide both remote and on-field support for pre- and post-sales activities, ensuring our customers have the best experience with Lunaphore products. Investigate technical issues and implement innovative solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and product performance. Install, maintain, and test Lunaphore equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety across the region. Develop an in-depth understanding of both the hardware and software aspects of our products. Perform basic staining assays and assist with testing protocols (training provided). Collaborate closely with the global technical team to provide feedback, troubleshoot, and improve our products. Capture and document customer feedback and technical details to improve product experience. Maintain clear, concise, and effective communication with customers, providing detailed reports and actionable insights. Take ownership of field support tasks, ensuring goals are met within established timelines. Be flexible and proactive, traveling to customer sites on short notice to provide hands-on technical support. Qualifications & Skills: At least 4 years in a field service engineering role in life sciences, diagnostics, medical devices, or related fields. Background in bioengineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar technical discipline. Familiarity with life sciences or research environments is a plus. Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and diagnostic skills. Previous experience in customer support or technical support roles. Exposure to IT helpdesk support for both hardware and software. Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in real-time. Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus. Nice to have:Background in biology. Strong engineering mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes. Experience in both Field Service Engineering and Technical Support. Experience with lab equipment or medical devices, and understanding of laboratory techniques.
