About the role WesTrac is looking for several experienced Field Service Plant Mechanics. The ideal candidate will be motivated and have 3-5 years of post-trade experience, especially in machine overhauls and the servicing and maintenance of various Cat equipment. You should bring a high level of technical skills and expertise to the role, along with a strong drive and motivation to succeed and work well within a team. Ideally, candidates will have Heavy Vehicle Mechanic qualifications. You will report to the Field Service Supervisor and work alongside a team of experienced Plant Mechanics. This role requires you to be out in the field. Skills & Experience Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment OEM Experience (highly desirable) Exposure to SIS or ET (highly desirable) Excellent diagnostic and repair skills Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure deliveries are made on time and to customer standard Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team Current Licence Why Join WesTrac?
