Job Description

Field Service / Technical Support – Mobile Crushers & Screens Cappro Pacific has been tasked to find a unique individual that we know is going to be extremely hard to find. This company has been operating in Australia for the last 40 years and has one of the best reputations for driving and winning major key accounts while also maintaining high performance in the ERG reports each year. They offer a full suite of products and are focused on supporting customers while providing technical support for the aftermarket in the earthmoving, mining, and forestry equipment industry. Job Opportunity - This role presents challenges, as you will work separately from the national Field Service Teams and Service workshops located throughout Australia. You will be the first point of contact for every customer in Australia that has an issue with their mobile crusher or screen. You will ascertain what is wrong with the machine and understand what is needed to get it back online ASAP. Your options include: Diagnosing the machine over the phone and working with the quarry team to fix the problem remotely. Sending out one of the service technicians from the local service operation and coordinating with them over the phone. Flying out to the customer's location to work with their team to resolve the issue. Having the machine brought back to the workshop for a complete breakdown and factory overhaul. This role also includes the following responsibilities within Australia: Support customers technically over the phone or on-site. Report all technical issues back to the factory. Coordinate service support to customers. PDI new equipment with the service department. Train customers on how to use and operate the machinery. Upsell and cross-sell services, parts, and support. Update and identify regular technical faults or issues with the equipment. Provide clear communication back to the factory in Europe. Fly to all sites throughout Australia to address customer technical issues. Resolve all problems with the aftermarket service team that works on mobile crushers. Read schematics and diagnose electrical or mechanical faults with mobile equipment. Candidate Requirements – You MUST have current experience working on mobile crushers & screens, specifically with brands such as Metso, Power Screen, Finlay, McCloskey, Lippmann, Tesab, Keestrack, Kleemann, Sandvik, and Striker. Trade qualifications as a Fitter or Diesel Technician. Excellent electrical skills over hydraulic. Factory training is a significant advantage. Willingness to travel throughout Australia. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong work ethic and passion for the role. Salary Package – Salary: $160,000 to $170,000 Superannuation Company Vehicle Phone & Laptop Company Uniform No sponsorship or visa applications You will receive training and have the national sales and senior management team to support you. There are other managers in NZ, Asia, and the USA with whom you can discuss and receive support. Yearly events and training support from Europe will also be provided.
