Job Description: As a Field Service Technician at 4AG Robotics, the candidate will play a pivotal role in deploying, maintaining, and supporting our advanced robotic systems on-site at farms. The position combines technical expertise with hands-on problem-solving to ensure optimal system functionality. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and calibrate agricultural robotic systems at customer sites. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues. Provide hands-on and remote technical support to ensure continuous systems functionality. Offer comprehensive training to customers and farm staff on operating and maintaining robotics systems. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product reliability and serviceability. Document all service activities and develop preventive maintenance plans. Maintain an organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables required for service activities. Support field trials of new equipment and prototypes, providing valuable feedback on performance. Foster strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor. Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards while working on-site. Qualifications: Certification in robotics, mechatronics, engineering, or a related field. Field experience, preferably in agriculture or robotics systems. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues. Effective communication and customer service abilities. Experience with automation systems, PLCs, and industrial control systems is highly desirable. Flexibility to travel internationally and work in diverse indoor and outdoor environments. A valid driving license.
