We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring our medical devices are at peak performance, providing technical support to our clients, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, test, and repair scientific equipment in line with industry best practices. Perform preventative maintenance on various Eyecare equipment. Respond to customer inquiries by phone and provide onsite technical support. Undertake installation and Acceptance Testing of Medical equipment and enter data into the company Management Systems. Complete service reports and required documentation and enter data into the company’s Management Systems. Work within defined SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all service and maintenance activities. This position is partially field-based and may require occasional travel away from home. Undertake “On-Call” duties as directed from time to time – this may be outside usual business hours. Complete service reports or required documentation in a timely manner. Participate as an active team member to plan and install a range of equipment. About You: This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working hands-on with cutting-edge technology. Field Service Engineer with a couple of years’ experience in the Health Care / Life Science / Medical Devices and Scientific field. A methodical approach to fault diagnosis and problem-solving. Proven ability to service and repair medical equipment. Experience in the repair and servicing of electronic / electromedical or laboratory equipment. Proven commitment to teamwork.
